Roman (Slovakian Jack Black) was amazing, he was very patient and knowledgeable. Amazing tour guide
We had an incredible experience on our walking tour of Bratislava with Roman. From the very beginning, his passion for his city and country shone through—he was not only knowledgeable, but genuinely enthusiastic about sharing Bratislava’s rich history and hidden gems. His storytelling was animated and engaging, and he had a great way of making everyone on the tour feel involved and welcome. Although we were only in the city for a day, Roman made it truly special. He went above and beyond, offering thoughtful restaurant and food recommendations, and even helped me find a specialty local ingredient I’d been searching for—dried mushrooms—going so far as to share some from his personal pantry. It was an incredibly generous and memorable gesture that perfectly summed up his warmth and hospitality. We’re so grateful for the experience. If you’re visiting Bratislava, don’t miss a chance to take a tour with Roman—it will be a highlight of your trip!
Had a great couple hours with Roman. He was funny, informative, gave us a lot of information without it getting overbearing or boring, he was happy to chat and answer any questions, and overall gave great insight into Bratislava and Slovakia as a nation. Really excellent tour.
Knowledgeable guide who shared information in a really engaging way. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend. Dakujem.
This tour was extremely interesting and I learned so many new things. When writing a text about it for Polarsteps (travel diary/blog) I had to think really hard what to leave out to not write a complete book. At the end of the tour we all received a small paper with a lot of tips from Jakub about what to do in Bratislava and some of those places I would have for sure missed. Thanks Jakub!
