Mi chiamo Yahya e vengo dal Marocco e precisamente a Casablanca. La mia esperienza di guida di tour è iniziata nel 2017 quando avevo 20 anni, ho imparato molte cose dalle diverse persone che ho incontrato. Sono appassionato di incontrare nuove persone e imparare da loro, oltre a condividere le mie conoscenze sul mio paese e la sua diversità culturale. Yahya was very accommodating for our group and was very patient with us when we lagged behind, or when looking for more information in certain areas (history, local experience, or touristy attractions). He really catered to us, and put us at ease. We also felt safe with him as a guide. When we wanted to stop for ice cream, he took us to one of the most popular and authentic places. When we wanted lunch, he talked to the restaurant and got us a big table if 10 right away. Yahya made this tour a 5 star!!!
Yahya provided an informative and entertaining tour of highlights of Casablanca. He obviously loves and knows his city very well.
It was a good tour and the guide was engaged and enthusiastic. Overall, we liked it. My only criticism is that in his enthusiasm to show us the city he is so proud of, he added extra optional stops, which the group "voted" on (not unanimously unfortunately). It turned an already long 3.5 hour tour into over 4 hours. It turned into a bit of information and stimulation overload. I would recommend that these "extras" be suggested to people as things they could do on their own after the tour concludes. Overall though, we did enjoy the tour and we think that with a little more structure it could be even better.
Yahya is an eccepito al guide, you can tell he loves this job. We were only three people because some participants cancelled the tour at the last minute, but despite that, our guide gave his best to let us experience the authentic side of Casablanca and the old city. It was a lovely afternoon, and I think that being just four of us actually allowed us to walk around like friends and discover all the curiosities of this beautiful city. An extra point for Yahya, who helped me and another guy from the tour get back home by taxi—truly kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this tour, also because I was never bored: from time to time we stopped to take photos, enjoy tea together, and eat the typical msemen while sitting at a street café. Truly amazing, well done!
