I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Luis touring the town. He is clearly passionate about Olhao and it was interesting to hear about the history and how the town came to be.

Luis shared his a very interesting perspective on Olhão. I visited the city many times but had no idea of much of the background that Louise presented. Luis is a part time teacher which shows in his willingness to answer questions and explain Olhão’s underlying social issues

Luis was a great guide and the tour of some of Olhão’s lesser visited places was a real treat. I especially enjoyed having a guide that was born and bred and loves the city. The tour was interesting, informative, and really special to have the local stories from a local! Thank you Luis! Best of luck with your projects in Olhão! 💙
