This was a great walking tour of the main areas in Chefchaouene. The local guide spoke very good English although was difficult to understand all he was saying. However, overall highly recommended.
Nuestro guía se portó muy bien con todas nosotras, nos enseñó aspectos del pueblo muy singulares, también nos enseñó rincones preciosos del pueblo, nos contó la historia del pueblo con mucha dedicación, sin duda se nota que le encanta su trabajo. Muchas gracias por todo!!
I had a nice tour with Youssef in Chefchaouen Medina. He shared with us his knowledge as a local men with some historical information. Unfortunately, at the end I tipped him 10€ which seemed fair to me for what I experienced (a normal, regular tour) but he forced me in front of the group to give him 5€ more to reach the "recommended and suggested tip". This made me feel very uncomfortable. I do free walking tours since years in each city I visit and this for me is completely against the philosophy of free walking tours for which you fairly pay based on what you experience, otherwise you should let people pay a fixed fee in advance and then they can tip more on top of the fee.

We had a semi-private tour with Sa-id. He spoke passionately and was very knowledgeable about his city. I would definitely recommend this walk as a way to get your bearings and find out some of this differences between this Medina and others in Morocco 🇲🇦
