Pailin is an excellent tour guide. One of the best “free” tour guides I’ve ever had. She is a wealth of information, passionate, and cares about her visitors. She hired a taxi for us (and paid) because it was getting too hot. She also bought us fruits and just brought really good energy. She is better than a three temple tour I saw on GetYourGuide charging $13.50 for 2 hours. Our tour ended up being 4 hours and she had so many restaurant and activity recommendations (with no affiliation). We all tipped her $10-$13.50 each because she was so lovely! Take her tour!

Pailin was super informative and taught us so much about Thai history and its people, traditions and Buddhism. She’s funny and knows some very interesting facts. We even tried some typical fruit from a local vendor 🤩 we would definitely recommend this tour if you’re in chiang mai
