We joined the Free Spirit Walking Tour of Zagreb this morning, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Ivana, is a history teacher, and it shows — she is incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and engaging. I felt like I hit the jackpot having her as our guide. Ivana walked us through Zagreb’s past all the way to present day, connecting history with architecture, culture, people, and even the economy. She has a great sense of humor and explains complex topics in a way that is both understandable and fascinating. I especially appreciated how she tied Croatia’s history with that of its neighboring countries, helping us understand how the region has been shaped over time. Without this tour, we would never have learned so much. It was interesting, insightful, enriching, and memorable. Highly recommended.
