We really enjoyed the details Elsa brought to the tour and can say that out of the tours we have done with Guru Walks the energy and effort has to be the best of them all. Hicimos una visita guiada por Haarlem y la experiencia fue estupenda. Nuestra guía llevaba toda la información muy bien preparada y nos explicó la historia y las curiosidades de la ciudad de una manera muy amena. Paz ha vivido en muchísimos sitios (no sólo en Holanda), así que tiene experiencias y datos para rato. Además, fue súper amable y conectó enseguida con mi hijo, algo que agradecimos muchísimo. Supo adaptarse perfectamente al ritmo y a las necesidades del grupo, siempre con una actitud positiva y mucho humor. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

My husband and I really enjoyed the walking tour with Else. She was very kind and enthusiastic and showed us some beautiful spots around the city while sharing interesting historical facts as well as fun stories along the way. It's a great way to explore the city and learn more about its history. She also gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants, bars, and other local hotspots, which was a great bonus and gave us plenty of inspiration for the rest of our stay. I would definitely recommend this tour!

I had such a great time on Else's walking tour through Haarlem. Even though I've been visiting Haarlem regularly for more than 35 years, I was genuinely surprised by how many hidden places and fascinating stories I had never discovered before. Else is a fantastic guide. She shares interesting facts with enthusiasm, has a great sense of humor, and makes everyone feel welcome. She also keeps a close eye on the group and makes sure the pace is comfortable for everyone. One of the things that made the tour even more special was that she included a few delicious local tastings along the way. I won't spoil the surprise, but it's such a lovely extra that really adds to the experience. Whether you're visiting Haarlem for the first time or think you already know the city, I highly recommend this tour. You'll discover hidden gems, hear stories you won't find in a guidebook, and experience the city in a unique and memorable way. Thank you, Else, for such a wonderful walk!

Else is a friendly and knowledgeable guide whose enthusiasm is truly contagious. Even though the city was very busy on Saturday, she handled everything with ease and made sure everyone could comfortably follow the tour. She shared fascinating facts and brought Haarlem's rich history to life in an engaging way. A nice bonus was that, at the end of the tour, she gave us plenty of great recommendations for restaurants, cozy bars, and other fun things to do in Haarlem. Highly recommended!

Else showed hidden treasures of my beautiful home of Haarlem. I‘ve lived here for 10 years and this guided tour showed me several gems I‘ve never seen before and places I‘ve been that Else helped me view and taste from a different angle. Definitely worth it.

Else is very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed very interesting things of Haarlem, like some Hofjes, and some special corners and buildings, and explained the history about them in a very straightforward way. Also very open to answer questions arising along the walk, and give recommendations about other things one could do. The tour is nice and it goes through the best corners of Haarlem, I recommend it to anyone who wants to know a little more about this beautiful city!

We enjoyed the tour very much! Else started the tour with a nice introduction and enthusiasm, the tour included both land marks one would expect and hidden gems. There are interactive components, little surprises, and we learned some interesting facts about the city, including both facts and legends. Else is very friendly and knowledgeable, and the general atmosphere of the tour was social and friendly. Of course Haarlem is also a beautiful city. Highly recommend!
