Johanna was hilarious! We really enjoyed spending the morning with her learning about Kilkenny. She shared some great stories, and tips for places to eat. Oh, the Taytos sandwich was awesome! Thanks Johanna! Nigel and Sue

Her enthusiasm is wonderful. Very pleasant. Extremely knowledgeable. We were held up on our drive there plus a race in town resulting in closed roads but she waited and did the tour upon our arrival. Very willing to change up the tour as we wished.

We had a fantastic walking tour of Kilkenny with Johanna. She brought the history of the city to life, taking us from its Norman origins and medieval past through the complex relationship between the Anglo-Norman settlers and the Irish population over the centuries. What made the experience particularly special was the small group, which made it feel almost like a private tour. Johanna was engaging, knowledgeable and very easy to follow, with excellent English and a great way of explaining history without making it feel like a history lesson. She also took us beyond the obvious sights, showing us some hidden corners of Kilkenny that we probably would never have discovered on our own, while sharing local stories, details and recommendations along the way. A wonderful way to understand Kilkenny, its history and its character. Highly recommended — especially if you are lucky enough to have Johanna as your guide!

A bit heavy and chaotic on history. More than enough enthusiasm, more up to date local information would be an improvement.
