Waleed was an excellent guide.. his knowledge of the local area and of Omani history was incredible, and we really appreciated the stops for Chai, karak Coffee and date biscuit! We learnt a huge amount of information and we highly recommend him to anyone thinking about a walking tour - and for your information, 4pm was an ideal time to start, the weather cooled quite quickly and the souks were well underway when we arrived. Thank you so much Waleed!!!!

Exploring Old Muscat with Waleed was an unforgettable experience. He gave our family so much attention, sharing Karaka tea, frankincense to chew, and delicious Omani maamoul cookies, plus a little toy car that completely made our boys' day. Knowing we were with a 4 year old, he set a gentle pace and took plenty of breaks so we never felt rushed. Beyond his deep local knowledge of the area, we truly loved the meaningful, wide ranging conversations we shared along the way. We couldn't recommend him enough!

Waleed , our guide was absolutely incredible! He has passion for the city and he loves what he does. His enthusiasm was contagious, and he brought the history and local culture to life with fantastic storytelling. On top of the great tour, he gave us so many brilliant local recommendations for food and hidden gems to explore on our own. If you’re visiting, do not miss this tour!
