This is one of the best tours I've had in a long time. This wasn't just a foodie tour, as Anjela showed us lots of interesting places and explained everything about them. But yes, we did have a ton of amazing (and very cheap) food... like a *lot* of food. Can't get any better.

Anjela’s communication with me set her aside from the off. She was patient and answered my questions very quickly. She reassured me when the taxi let me down so I was able to relax even though I was running late. Anjela is a fountain of information and she is very knowledgeable! We went on and off the beaten tracks but at a good pace. She did not do the sometimes sales detour that some guides do but also listened to me when I specifically asked for spices. She prepared me about the pricing beforehand which was helpful.
It was also my first experiences of tuk tuk and matatu! It was fun and safe with her. I definitely recommend her tours and would love to come back!

We did have some expectations but this was way over them! Anjela and Ali were amazing, they took us everywhere - spice market, meat market, fish market, somali market and we also walked through the old city, new city and saw a lot! They know a lot about these historical sites and also, they answered every question we had. Even the questions you may be afraid to ask, about life in Kenya. We were beyond happy to meet them and I cannot recommend them more!! Asante sana!

This tour was incredible. Anjela and her friend took us to places that I would normally be afraid to go (e.g. meat market and fish market) during the tour they showed us hidden gems that i would normally walk by. They answered all our questions and told us more than we expedted. They took us also to fort Jesus and explained us everything (there are not many signs in English). We also took a TukTuk ride (this was optional) and we would normally be afraid to ride with that.

Anthony was an amazing tour guide! His knowledge was very detailed and a lovely mix of old and new kenyan; Mombasa’s history and its links to modern kenyan culture. He kept us very safe while we walked the streets of old town and the markets! We really appreciated the time and effort he took to explain all we saw and answered every question we could think of. Couldn’t recommend him and this tour enough!

Anjela was extremely knowledgeable and kind, together with her colleague, they made a wonderful experience. I thought it was going to be a group but it was just me, so we could do great things. Mombasa definitely is a great experience by Anjela's hand and narrative. Amazing history and lovely city. Many thanks 🙏

Antony was a great guide! We got to visit many parts of the old and new town in Mombasa that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. He is knowledgeable and excited about sharing with visitors. I definitely recommend the tour to get a good sense of the city.

Antony was an excellent guide and took us all through Fort Jesus, old town, the iconic tusks, the spice market and a Hindu temple.
His history is excellent, recollecting the complicated and long history of Mombasa, how it represented an important corridor for trade, political dynasties, the ugly reminders of colonialism from the Portuguese and the Brits all undertaken over seceral centuries.
This tour will really give you an amazing glimpse into the great city of Mombasa.
Highly recommend.

Hey Ali, big thank you again, I really enjoyed the tour! Ali has a big knowledge about the city and explains all the details patiently! He is not in a hurry at all and takes his time for going from place to place… I would definitely do a second tour with Ali!
