Calvin is a wonderful guide, polite, helpful and gave us many interesting facts and information. We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour.

Kobe: Tutto quello che devi sapere! (Più che solo carne di manzo)

I joined the 'Kobe: Everything You Need to Know! (More Than Just Beef)' tour yesterday with Calvin. It starts and ends at Sannomiya Station in central Kobe, which is convenient for anyone staying in the surrounding Kansai cities. I really enjoyed the diversity packed in our 2-hour itinerary. Calvin, who studies history at the local Kobe University, was knowledgeable, interesting, professional, and interested in the group's participants' enjoyment. Both the pace and the type of information provided were adequate in my view. I can only encourage international visitors to get out of Osaka and Kyoto for a while and give Kobe a try: they won't be disappointed at all with Arigatours and (hopefully) Calvin as a guide :) PS: I suggest having the sign even when groups' size is smaller given the quantity of people hanging out on the square at any given time by Sannomiya Station. It will make it easier for visitors to locate you at all times. All the best! Mathieu

Had a great time with Calvin! I only know the popular tourist spots so I'm glad that we visited the lesser known but equally as important to the City's History and Culture like the Kitano district and the Mosque. Will definitely recommend.

We were very lucky to get such a competent guide as Calvin. The tour with him was very exciting and interesting. He was able to answer all our questions and has a very high level of general knowledge. In the end, we also received a great recommendation for a Kobe restaurant. If you want to understand the present Kobi, I highly recommend this tour!

One of the best experiences of my trip to Japan. The guide was very friendly and explained not only the famous spots but also many local details about daily life and culture. I learned a lot and discovered places I would have never found by myself. Highly recommended if you want to explore Japan beyond the typical tourist attractions. Thank you, ArigaTours!

Yuji offered the tour despite only me signing in. He also was willing to switch to Englisch as it was easier for me than Spanish. Despite the circumstances he was very nice and fothcoming and gave me many good tipps for my day in Kobe.

I had such a great time on Karim’s tour in Kobe! I ended up being the only person in the group, but he still gave me a full and very personal tour. He showed me some really cool spots and we had interesting conversations along the way. Karim is super friendly, easy to talk to, and made the experience really enjoyable. I was very happy with the tour and would definitely recommend him!
