Die Free Walking Tour hat mir sehr gefallen und war sehr abwechslungsreich. Gabriel war super und hat uns extrem spannende Orte gezeigt und interessante Fakten und Informationen erzählt.

Couldn't ask for better for a quick 1.5-2 hour tour of downtown Merida. We didnt get to stop at some places as long as I wouldve liked, but that was fine because now we know what we want to go back and spend more time on!

This was my groups second tour with Gabriel on this day. Gabriel did not disappoint again. We were again shown some truly amazing historical sites and appreciated all the information told to us. Gabriel also included much cultural sites and information. What we saw of old Merida was gorgeous. I would certainly recommend this tour and Gabriel as your guide.

My group of 8 adults consistent of family members. Meeting point changed because of the extreme heat on that day. However Gabriel communicated this change of address well in advance and there were no issues. The tacos we tried were all very yummy! It was nice to taste the different types available and have them explained. He even suggested other items to try. While walking from site to site we enjoyed and appreciated the history Gabriel talked to us about. The only negative issue one person of the group had was the speed in which we walked. The tour was very fasted paced and with the excessive heat (43 degrees) they were not able to finish the tour. I would absolutely recommend Gabriel as a tour guide.

As a native Maya, he even teaches you a few Maya words, and hearing the language spoken by a native speaker is an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour!

Would recommend to anyone visiting Merida and wants to see a side of local culture! Lulu and Willi took us to a diverse range of different types of cantinas, they explained the history of them as well as information about Merida, differences between Mezcal and Tequila, the plates of food in the cantina were delicious. It felt like we were chatting with friends rather than on a 'tour'. Willi is an amazing salsa dancer and taught us a few moves too. Thanks for a fun afternoon! (Just a note that the email from Guru walk that came through didn't have the correct meeting point for us, but it was only a couple of mins away but maybe check before you arrive where the meeting point is to avoid any confusion :) )

Excelente walking tour por Mérida con Gabriel. Sus explicaciones fueron súper claras, interesantes y además muy divertidas, hizo que todo el recorrido se sintiera dinámico y nada pesado. La ruta estuvo muy bien pensada y nos permitió conocer muchísimo de la historia y cultura de la ciudad. Se nota la pasión y el conocimiento que tiene. Definitivamente volvería a tomar otro tour con él y lo recomiendo muchísimo a cualquiera que visite Mérida.

We booked the Tour without a having a clue of the city of Merida. Then we met Lulu, José and Willi and directly felt very welcomed by them. They told us about the story of Merida, in a way we could have never figured out by ourselves and they showed us cantinas and places that we couldn’t have found by ourselves too. The three are a perfect mix of age, experience and background. They answered every question we had to the fullest. We would recommend this tour 100%. A big thank you to the three! We loved it!
