This is not one of those tours where you stand up in front of a monument and the guide explains what is that. On this tour, we walk around the Hutongs while Roy tell us stories and pieces of Beijing’s history, mixed with facts from the last ten years China. All the stories he tells build up a beautiful and interesting storytelling of Beijing. I highly recommend this tour for those who like a good storytelling! Thank you Roy!

Roy es un guía top: tiene gran formación de historia y urbanismo de la ciudad, con mucha capacidad para transmitir. Habla un inglés excelente y hemos disfrutado muchísimo del paseo con él. Añadir además que hicimos el tour con nuestra hija de 10 años a quien le encanca la historia, y Roy ha estado súper atento con ella, haciéndola partícipe durante todo el tour a la vez que mantenia un nivel muy rico de contenido. Grandisima experiencia. Muy recomendable!

Excelente tour con Roy Li. Es un guia muy simpático, didáctico y conocedor de lo que habla. Recorrimos lugares turisticos pero también lugares locales en donde aprendimos mucho de la historia de la ciudad y del pais en general. También recibimos muy buenas recomendaciones de lugares para seguir paseando, restaurantes y mercados. Muy recomendable!!

Roy Li was an outstanding guide and gave us one of the best walking tours we’ve done. The route was incredibly well planned and took us through a perfect mix of Beijing’s famous highlights and charming hidden streets that we never would have explored on our own. Every stop had an interesting story, making the city come alive. Roy is an excellent storyteller with a deep knowledge of Beijing’s history, culture, and daily life. He explained everything in a fun and engaging way, and he was always happy to answer questions. You could really tell how passionate he is about his city, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, informative, and full of fascinating facts, but it never felt overwhelming. We learned so much while having a great time. Roy’s enthusiasm, friendliness, and sense of humor created a relaxed atmosphere where everyone felt welcome. If you’re visiting Beijing, I highly recommend joining one of Roy Li’s walking tours. Roy was our top guru walk guide so far, very friendly, knowledgable and helpful, with an excellent sense of humour and, since he has been a guide for 16 years, that he is still so enthusiastic about it is amazing. We would highly recommend this tour.
