Free Walking Tours through Imperial Beijing

Roy was a very knowledgeable guide and speaks great English (truely). He takes you to both tourist places aswell ass non-tourist places and has a lot of interesting info about the chinese history. Definitely recommend, I always like to do free walking tours at the beginning of my visit so I can use the tips during my visit

The tour with Roy Li is spectacular. It’s a deep dive into history, visiting places with few tourists. It’s absolutely worth taking this tour, walking around on your own just isn’t the same. Roy told the stories, showed the history, and made everything come to life. I highly recommend it!

Roy was an amazing guide, he was humorous and enjoyable to converse with. He also had extensive knowledge of the history and spoke really clearly about all topics. The pace of the walk was also enjoyable, not too fast or slow, and the distance covered is easily manageable. Highly recommend!! I would 100% do the tour again :)

We joined a guided tour in Beijing with Roy Li and absolutely loved it! We attended the tour based on previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Roy Li was accommodating for all knowledge levels within our group and created a fun engaging environment throughout. The tour was very authentic and he gave lots of little anecdotes. We saw places and went through side streets that we otherwise would not have visited. As we have just arrived in the city the tour was great for us to get our bearings and Roy Li has given us lots of tips for the rest of our stay, would highly recommend :)
