We have been doing free walking tours for many years so have high expectations. We were lucky there was only 6 people on the tour but Steve was very easy to hear and included everyone in conversation. He obviously puts time and effort into planning his tours and is informative and entertaining. In fact half round we recommended him to 2 passers by who asked about the tour. We would definitely recommend his tour and as a bonus he makes donations to Cancer Research from what he earns.

Steve was hugely knowledgeable and very entertaining. He kindly agreed to allow us on the morning tour, although I'd booked the afternoon one, as our plans changed late. Portsmouth was buzzing, with the round the world Clipper boats due in that day, and the weather was great. Steve brought the history of the area to life for us, and we'll definitely be back for another visit, as there's so much to see.

We really enjoyed the tour round old Portsmouth- Steve did a great job relaying the history of the area through anecdotes and pictorials and gave us a sense of how life was before the redevelopment of the dockyard - an hour and a quarter well spent
