A local with a very good knowledge of the city and the country, the history and everyday life. Highly recommended!
Guruwall Tour Evaluation for "Pulse of Prishtina" 1. Historical Knowledge (8/10) I fact checked almost everything she said and it was all accurate. It was kinda surface level info tho, but still not stuff you'd know unless you booked a tour. She was able to answer all of our questions at least. 2. Storytelling & Engagement (9/10) She was very descriptive and even threw in a few jokes which is really smart, didn't make it some bland and boring history lesson. Even the kids we're bored which was surprising because they're not easily impressed by this kind of stuff 3. Communication Skills (10/10) Spoke with a firm tone, very easy to understand. She has a bit of an accent, but I legit thought she was American at first, maybe Minnesota 4. Route & Site Selection (8/10) Mostly visited statues and monuments but that makes sense given its a historical tour. Ending the tour at a traditional Albanian restaurant was the hidden gem and I highly recommend it. Efficient use of time 5. Organization & Time Management (9/10) She was there 10 min early and the tour took exactly an hour as advertised. Smooth transitions, and no unnecessary delays, other than she had to tell some gypsy kids to leave us alone twice. 6. Interaction with Guests (10/10) She welcomed questions, was very friendly and approachable. She remembered names and interacted personally when possible 7. Local Insights (8/10) Its a pretty straightforward tpue but she shared authentic local culture, had some nice restaurant/bar recommendations and taught us some local customs and etiquette, and a few Albanian words and phrases that I'll never remember 8. Professionalism (10/10) Enthusiastic attitude, she had the aura of a history teacher, although she said she never was one. Well-prepared and organized. 9. Overall Experience (10/10) My sisters and their kids really enjoyed it. The kids loved looking in the Souvenir Shop 10. "Wow" Factor (7/10) Even the street dogs liked her, one of them came and laid on her feel while she was talking at the Mother Teresa statue. Sybolic or ironic? I'll let you decide At the end of the tour, my sister invited her to eat with us, but she had to get ready for another tour after ours. I thought I'd shoot my shot and invite her back to my hotel room, but she's married and made that very clear. That being said, it was an overall great tour, now I just have to let my ego heal from rejection
Lemisa is an excellent guide and showed us Pristina's highlights with a lot of enthusiasm and passion. Her knowledge on all the statutes and all big and little stories of history was impressive! We really recommend this tour!
Excellent tour! IMI was very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Kosovo. The tour was well organized, informative, and enjoyable. I learned a lot about the history and culture while visiting beautiful places. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Pristina. Thank you for a wonderful experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful walking tour of Prishtina with Imi. He was friendly, welcoming and very passionate about sharing the history, culture and local life of the city. The tour was interesting, relaxed and easy to follow, with great stories about the Cathedral of Mother Teresa, the National Library, Newborn Monument and everyday life in Kosovo. Imi made the experience feel personal and authentic, and he also gave us helpful local recommendations. A great way to discover Prishtina with a local guide. Highly recommended!
IMI was very welcoming and had a lot of knowledge. He was fun to be around and went the extra mile suggesting places to visit/book during our stay. Would highly recommend.
Lemisa is a lovely young lady who was on her first tour as a guide. Pristina is not full of walkable sites but this recent graduate of NYU was prepared . I can recommend her enthusiastically 😊
Imi was a great guide! We enjoyed his way of telling the stories and history of the locations we visited with him. Unfortunately, we got rained out during our tour, but we quickly shifted gears and decided to visit a local establishment where we enjoyed a drink while listening to traditional music. Our time with Imi was fantastic, and anyone interested in learning about Pristina and the history of Kosovo should book a tour with him.
Great informative tour
IMI Is a Fantastic guide
Really enjoyed learning about the history of Kosova and also the guides own personal life experiences
Amazing tour! All the main sites! Really cool!!
Imi knows a lot about Pristina and the history and tells about it in an entertaining way. At the end of the tour he shared many recommendations for Pristina.
Great experience!!! Imi knows the stuff!!!
He was really engaging and entertaining and knows the history full history of Albania. At the end we went to the SOMO to have a drinks it was amazing and nice experience. I highly recommend anyone to take good tour.
I thought the walk was relaxed and informative. Imi was able to answer all our questions well. I always think a guide who is passionate about their country and is able to relate well to the people on the walking tour are the best and Imi was both. Thank you very much.
Great city tour
Good introduction to Pristina. Good blend of history , local knowledge and sites. Even included tea with locals in the old town .
We had an excellent experience with MI from GuruWalk during our walking tour in Prishtina. He was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about Kosovo’s history, and made the city come alive with stories and local insights that we would have never discovered on our own. As full-time nomads traveling around the world, we really appreciate guides who genuinely love their city and enjoy sharing it with visitors, and MI absolutely did that. The tour gave us a much deeper understanding of Prishtina, its culture, and the history of Kosovo. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prishtina and wanting a more meaningful experience beyond just walking around the city on your own.
Very interesting and with the group went into interesting buildings.
I really enjoyed the tour with Imi—he shared lots of information about the sights and the city with the group. But most of all, I learned a lot about life in Pristina, and many questions were answered. It was like going for a walk with a local friend. Would definitely recommend the tour with Imi.
Very good and easygoing guide, open to answers all the questions!
