This is the best walking tour I’ve ever been on. My guide Zoran was incredibly knowledgeable and humorous. I learned so much about Skopje’s history on the tour. I was fully engaged the whole time because his stories were so interesting and full of wit. It’s by far the best tour I have taken. Highly recommended — you won’t regret it!

The tour was very comprehensive and educational. It provided good info on both the old Skopje and the modern Skopje.

Vasko was outstanding! I had to leave partway through but his explanations, expression, and professionalism all exceeded my expectations. He has a lot of energy, jokes, knowledge, and local tips - although if you’ve been in Skopje for more than a day, you’ll already be aware of many of these tips.

Aleksander is a very lovely guide. Very funny. Lots of information. Could ask anything. Very very good English speaking (no Balkan accent) and also a bit Spanish / German / Dutch. Love the tour!

Absolutely the best free tour I have ever attended. Dejan speaks the way that ensures everyone can understand him and he gives entirely different perspective on Skopje. Now I feel that Skopje is one of the most interesting places I've been to and it's thanks to him

Dino was absolutely amazing! We have done many free walking tours in different cities, and he was honestly one of the best guides we have ever had. Thanks to him, we didn’t just see Skopje – we actually started to understand it: its history, architecture, culture, and the complicated situation and identity of North Macedonia. After the tour, we looked at the city with much more appreciation, curiosity and understanding. Dino is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about his city and country, and he explains even complicated topics in a very interesting and accessible way. We also really appreciated all the local tips and recommendations he gave us – they made the rest of our stay even better. Thank you so much, Dino! You gave us a completely different perspective on Skopje and North Macedonia. We can’t wait to continue our journey and discover more of this fascinating country!

It was a great walking tour. You get to see all the important stops, with detailed history. Our guide Di (Deyan) was kind, professional, interactive and super knowledgable. He would always take time to explain the history, and background story of the places. Willing to answer any questions. There was also a short break in the middle, which was very welcome to ease the walking and standing for long hours. I'd highly recommend it. Deyan gave us great tips on foods, local sights, and culture. :)

Vasko is an enthusiastic, great, knowledgeable guide, who tells a lot about history, culture, food and much more. He stopped at a Byrek store, and let us taste that typical Macedonian food. It was also nice to have a short break during the tour to have some coffee and go to the toilet. I really enjoyed the tour!! Just one recommendation: I saw some other guides with a microphone. Although Vasko did a great job, due to a lot of noise/sounds, I would recommend he also uses a small microphone for a large group.

Vasko was an amazing guide. My partner and his sister, who are both locals in Skopje, joined me on the tour. They were a little sceptical at first, but once it started, they were genuinely impressed. Vasko is a fantastic storyteller, and we got to see Skopje from a completely different perspective. It’s quite a long walk, so come prepared. Also, don’t drink too much water beforehand. There is a short toilet break about halfway through the tour, but public toilets are not easy to find in Skopje, so keep that in mind. And lastly… guys, please tip your guide properly. I was surprised to see that people from some of the wealthiest countries tended to give the least. That was honestly a bit disappointing.
