It’s always nice to have a local as a guide. Nermin is a native who clearly loves Shkodër. She was delightful, very knowledgeable, and passionate about the city’s past and present history, as well as Albania’s. We very much appreciated Nermin’s suggestions on places we might want to visit, as well as different local foods we might want to try. If you happen to visit Shkodër, consider Nermin’s walking tour. You’ll be glad you did.

We had a brilliant walking tour with Paulo and would highly recommend her. She was incredibly informative and gave us so much history and context about every place we visited, which really helped bring everything to life. She was also very happy to answer all of our questions about modern life, culture and what it’s like to live in the country today, which made the tour feel much more personal and interesting. Everything was done at our own pace, and she even offered us a couple of extra stops, which we were very happy to do. There were only two of us on the tour, so we really appreciated that she still went ahead and gave us such a full experience. Her English was excellent, she was warm and engaging throughout, and we came away feeling like we’d learnt a huge amount. Thank you so much, Paulo!

The tour was great! My wife and I were the only ones to join, so we basically got a private tour. We already had some previous knowledge from another tour, which Paola took into account. She knew a lot about the city and we learned a lot. Would highly recommend this tour!
