Haktan is fantastic! He is a very natural and engaging guide, and the tour route took us to some not as busy areas of the city. He is funny and entertaining! He provides headsets which makes it really easy to hear him. Highly recommend.
I great relaxed tour that shows some hidden gems in the city
Simply amazing, incredibly engaging and entertaining from beginning to end. Also very professional as he gave us headphones to hear him better which is something mostly seen by the expensive pre-paid tours. Also incredibly knowledgeable. He told us he also did the old city tour but unfortunately we had already done that with another group otherwise we would definitely have gone with him. Highly recommend

The visit with Haktan was magnificent! He's super knowledgeable and helped us get to know the city through its historical events, telling us about the culture with various funny anecdotes and valuable tips on where to go to fully enjoy it. Haktan was professional (clear communications prior to walk, knowledgeable, entertaining) and a gracious guide (provided headsets, kept us in the shade on a warm day and paid for the ferry, patiently answered questions, etc). Haktan showed us the sites as described in the description and made recommendations as asked by the group. We were glad to have been on the tour!
Ferhat was great - very informative and it was easy to understand his English as he speaks slowly. The food he recommended was all tasty, unique and interesting. This is a must do food tour on the Asian side.
Halton has excellent English and is very knowledgeable about the area and the history. Added to that he has a great sense of humour so the tour is very entertaining . I thoroughly recommend it!
Excellent tour, Ferhet was super knowledgeable showed us lots of great food places at different price points. We tried lots of great food along the way and have lots of recommendations here and all over the city for the rest of our trip! Would definitely recommend!!
Sin duda ha sido un acierto total elegir este Tour. HAKTAN hace la visita superamena contando muchas historias y con un sentido del humor genial. Tiene un inglés excelente con acento americano del Este. Han sido 2,5h muy bien aprovechadas y nos ha dado tips para continuar la visita por nuestra cuenta en el lado asiático. Hemos comido la familia entera (4 personas) en NEVMEKAN SAHIL rodeado en su mayor parte por turcos por 1.770 Liras...increíble. Nos hemos sentado en una mezquita. Muy recomendable.

I really highly recommend Ferhat as your guide to the wonderful foodie world of Kadıköy! Thanks to his tour, I felt like I got a really good grasp of the iconic dishes and food spots in the area. Ferhat didn’t just introduce us to the food, he also shared the history and stories behind the various dishes and establishments, which made the experience much more interesting and memorable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about both food and Kadıköy, and he kindly took the time to answer all of our questions, whether they were about Turkish cuisine, the history of the neighbourhood, or simply where to find the best things to eat. You can really tell that he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion comes through throughout the entire tour. The food itself was fantastic, and having someone like Ferhat guide us meant we got to experience Kadıköy in a much deeper way than we would have on our own. I also appreciated how relaxed and friendly he was, which made the whole tour feel more like exploring the neighbourhood with a knowledgeable local friend than being on a typical tourist tour. If you're a foodie visiting Istanbul and want to discover the flavours, stories and hidden gems of Kadıköy, I definitely recommend booking a tour with Ferhat.

Diese Tour ist absolut zu empfehlen. Sehr sehr abwechslungsreich. Auf jeden Fall zu Beginn des Aufenthalts zu buchen weil sie eine gute Orientierung ermöglicht. Haktan bringt eine tolle Mischung aus Witz, Infos und Geschichten in seine Tour ein. Love it.

Haktan was very engaging and funny. He has great knowledge of the city and told stories in a really entertaining way. We went back for a second tour (covering a different part of the city) with him, as we enjoyed the first one so much.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We learned a lot of interesting facts and the tour guide kept us cool and comfortable.
I was the only one on the tour but Ferhat still made the effort to do the tour with me. We talked about street food and trendy places in kadıköy and had lots of opportunities to try different dishes. i really like the Islak burger, simple and satisfying. i could definitely see myself eating it as a hangover cure haha. I also got some good recommendations for restaurants as well. I’m excited to try Tartar Salim when I get a chance! Overall great tour and such a cool place to do it!
