Another great tour with Haktan. He provided plenty of detailed historical and contemporary information about Istanbul. Particularly enjoyed learning about the Asian side of the city and its differences to the European side.

I went on all of Haktan's tours last time I was in Istanbul in 2022 and it only made sense to go on another while in Istanbul on my honeymoon. My husband was cracking up at Haktan's jokes the whole time! The tour was a great mix of humor, history, and recommendations about where to go for food and souvenirs. 100% rec!

Okay experience: good for those who know little about Turkish cuisine, as you are informed about different food options. However, you don't actually taste anything unless you stop to purchase something.

I had the pleasure of participating in a tour of the Asian side of Istanbul with a guide who turned out to be a true local expert. His passion for the city and knowledge of local eateries allowed me to discover places I would have never known about if I had explored on my own. The guide not only showed us hidden culinary gems but also introduced us to the daily life of the residents. Thanks to his stories, I felt like I had briefly become a part of this fascinating culture. Additionally, he shared valuable tips on how to effectively use the frozen money on the city card, which turned out to be extremely helpful. This allowed me to better plan my expenses and take advantage of local attractions. Overall, this tour was an unforgettable experience that enriched my visit to Istanbul. Ferhat gave us an overview of Turkey and the local areas we visited- Kadikoy and Moda. This side of Istanbul is very different to the old city - more local and authentic, worth visiting. We went to many local shops and tried local food - we would not have had the courage to do this ourselves without our guide. Ferhat told us about the traditions associated with the food. We also went to Moda which again is different to Kadikoy - trendy and edgy. The tour lasted for 2 hours and when we parted we then went for lunch at one of the restaurants that had been recommended. An excellent tour - would recommend!

The tour was really nice, it was raining but we managed to see everything as planned anyway. The itinerary starts from the old city and ends up on the Asian side giving you exceptional views via ferry as well. Haktan is amazing, very professional and prepared as well as really funny. We asked for many advices and he was always super available. Would definitely recommend!!!

The local food tour with Ferhat was really great! He showed us a lot of nice places with really good and local food and gave us time to buy something and also told us a lot of interesting information about the local cuisine. He also answered all of our questions and gave us additional directions to other places we wanted to visit. All in all I would highly recommend the tour 😊

I would strongly recommend to do that Tour. Haktan is a perfect tour guide. Lots of information but although fun and so the tour never get bored. He brought professional headsets for each one so you always could listen even if you were some meters away to watch the beautiful places.

I highly, highly, highly recommend this walking tour in the vibrant Kadiköy neighbourhood. The area gives a completely different face of Istanbul (then the main city centre) and is a must see in my book. Walking with Ferhat allowed me to see more then I would walking by myself. He is very knowledgeable about his neighbourhood. I liked that Ferhat infused the tour with information about modern life while still painting the historical context. My advice is to plan this tour at the beginning of your stay so you’ll know where to eat & what to order your whole trip long. Expert level: bring a bag, fill it during the tour with all the snacks you buy and enjoy a picnic at the waterfront after. Ferhat knows the best spots to go. Teşekkür ederim!

Ferhat was a great tour guide. The information he provided was well rounded and he was very accommodating. We were introduced to so many delicious dishes as well as non-food related facts and stories about Istanbul. We really enjoyed the tour.

Haktan is indeed very funny. Most amusing tour easily out of the dozens I’ve gone on. The headsets were also a great touch.
