Ferhat lead us through the interesting streets of Kadiköy including into districts we would never have discovered ourselves. He is very knowledgeable about the foods that can be found on the streets and is very entertaining along the way! Just be aware this is NOT a tasting tour. Any delectable bites, you have to pay for yourself!

Haktan is the best guide I’ve had for a guruwalk, globally. He was super knowledgeable, entertaining, and could answer any questions we had about Istanbul. We went for both his tours and would 100% recommend him to others!

Haktan hat uns in seiner kurzweiligen Tour viel Interessantes erzählt zur Geschichte von Istanbul und speziell zu den besuchten Orten. Besonders der Transfer zur asiatischen Seite und der Rundgang im viel weniger touristischen Üsküdar war toll.

Good gear for such a big group, we were all able to hear the guide thanks to the in-ear he provided. Funny guy but not too much. Information is solid and he has a lot of good tips for food and travelling around. We really like the route and the tour finishing on the Asia side was a great ending.

Haktan provides a very fun tour with some silly jokes. We are so glad we participated. It was out 4th Guruwalk, and it was the best we have had. The tour was diverse and informative.

Haktan is such a great guide we did one if his tours yesterday afternoon and enjoyed it so much we came back this morning for the other one. He is fantastic; casual but informed and informative, and able to relate to people of all ages (we had a baby in our group (!) through to retirees). Haktan was entertaining and informative. It was the perfect tour in every respect and after we were done, he recommended some amazing ideas for food and also a fabulous hammam (Turkish bath) that was half the price of similar places on the European side. Highly recommend Haktan’s tours. We enjoyed it so much, we signed up for a second tour with him the following day! Thanks

Excellent walking tour with Ferhat in the Kadikoy area . Lots of information shared and recommendations too on where and what to eat . Easy and friendly conversations . Liked that we were given opportunity to buy snacks / food at some of the stops to actually try out the food and not just talk about it . Thanks for a great afternoon , despite the wet weather .
