Excellent tour and really helpful to tick off some classic Turkish dishes and also some lesser known specialities

Ferhat was very knowledgeable about all the foodie places we stopped at! The mussels was the absolute standout and I’ll be back to have some more.

Ive done many free tours all around the world and this was by far one of my favourites. Melissa is a great tour guide. She gave us a lot of information and we got to try some really good food. What I liked most was nothing felt forced or rushed she let us go with the flow of what we liked. Thank you so much for making my first day in Istanbul a memorable one <3

Good and knowledgeable tour, specially the guide with almost perfect Spanish language. Also interesting secret places and corners. A must while in Istanbul.

Ferhat was great. We were running. A little late but he made time for us and gave a great personal tour. My wife is vegetarian so he made sure to point out foods and places she may like to eat. We learnt a lot about Turkish foods, some weird facts but all lots of fun

A fantastic experience! The tour was an amazing way to discover Istanbul's gastronomy and culture. We tasted delicious and authentic dishes that I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and shared fascinating stories about the city and its culinary traditions. Definitely a must-do activity for anyone visiting Istanbul and wanting to experience it through its flavors. Highly recommended! :)

Melisa was a great guide. It was a small group. I really wanted to try a specific dish that wasn’t on the itinerary and she made it happen. You can choose what you want to try and what you don’t, pay as you go. It was a good selection of foods from both sides. She also gave us lots of interesting information as we went along. I would highly recommend this tour to any foodie🥰

It was the best walking tour we did so far!!! Haktan was very knowledgeable, funny and relaxed. The 2,5 h flew away and thanks to his headsets we heard everything he said and really learned a lot! A huge recommendation!! PS: He also offers an old city tour which doesn’t pop up at the top of the website, so we didn’t see it at first. We suppose that must be great as well!

Ferrat was wonderful and the trip exceeded expectations. We went on an expensive Viator food tour before this on the European side and it was just as good if not better. Highly recommend !

Haktan gave us a great introduction to the city's history and current's affairs and ways of life. We found his explanations more detailed and engaging than the paid guides tours inside the individual palaces and mosques. He's very friendly, very welcoming and his delivery on the historical events was also very engaging. He gave us lots of recommendation on what and where to eat on different budgets, as well as useful tips on how to move around the city and make the best out of our visit (over hyped places, means for transportation, places to visit for free, places for sightseeing, etc.). He showed us Üsküdar, a district not considered to be touristic, which I found very beautiful and worth visiting anyhow. In fact, a Turkish friend was pleasantly surprised when he found out he took us there. What we got out of the tour made the rest of our trip a better experience, I would definitely recommend him

Excellent tour, we enjoyed learning about the local food and customs and appreciated the recommendations. Returned after the tour for more mussels, borek, and bought lots of baklava!
