What an awesome tour we had! Aly is not only very knowledgeable about Egyptian antiquity but also someone who knows how to tell good stories, making the tour fascinating. I can only recommend you go on a tour with him.

Aly was very flexible, got to the location before time and although this was a fixed tour, he went out of his way to recommend breakfast places before we walked to the museum. I would definitely recommend Aly.

Aly is great! He kept in touch before our meetup then met us at our hotel lobby, on time. Before entering the Egyptian museum, he gave us an appreciation of the building, its era and architectural detail. Inside, he shared with us his enthusiasm for Egypt’s long and brilliant history, discussing both major exhibits and background details of various dynasties, in ephemera found in the extensive, smaller galleries. And, all with a sense of humor and occasional Dad joke. Later we rejoined him and he showed us around Cairo itself, to mosques and local markets and the souq el-Khalili, finished off with mint tea and live music. Thank you Aly!

Aly is a very experienced tour guide. He is well aware of both ancient and modern Egypt. He is very very patient and explained us everything (including some of the artefacts that were usually skipped by other guides). Don’t forget to enquire about other tours he does, although they aren’t listed on GuruWalk, he does quite a lot of them. He is a very easy going person, and I highly recommend a tour with him!

As Aly doesn't have many reviews in Guru we did not know what to expect. He turned out to be very experienced guide with lots of knowledge. He made the tour very interesting, sharing with us the highlights and fun facts but didn't miss anything important. It was a pleasure to spend the day in his companion.
