Artur had grown up in Lagos & gave us a real flavour of the old town and all the changes that have taken place. We felt we had a vey good insight into the old town. His style was very easy to listen to & his English was exc lent. As an added bonus he gave us recommendations in the town & a history throughout the ages. We would thoroughly recommend this walking tour

Great guide, knew a lot about the history about Lagos. At the end got lots of tips for eating and visiting other part of the Algarve.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. We took the tour near the end of our time here and wished we had taken it at the beginning as he had lots of good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

The tour covered interesting historical points and we saw some really nice areas of Lagos. The recommendations PDF sent beforehand was a thoughtful touch and appreciated. However, the delivery felt quite scripted and lacked engagement compared to other walking tours we’ve done. One key issue was that payment expectations weren’t clearly communicated. We only had €10 cash between us and asked about card options at the end, which weren’t available (PayPal being the only alternative offered). This wasn’t mentioned beforehand or during the tour (even when passing ATMs), which would have helped avoid the situation. Unfortunately, we later received a message from the guide accusing us of “running off” without paying, which felt unfair given we had explained the situation and left the only cash we had. This left a negative impression overall.

Arthur speaks excellent English, grew up in Lagos and is very knowledgeable about the area. The tour was a little over 2 hours but went fast. There were some highlights that we went back to later, such as the old church, and the museum which was fantastic. We highly recommend Arthur for your walking tour which was not difficult at all despite the hills.

Artur was engaging and very knowledgeable of the local history. His story telling really made you understand those unseen aspects if lical history. I highly recommend the tour

An interesting & interactive tour with Brody. History, places to visit, queries addressed.. so all good. Information re restaurants & sites received by what’s app as had missed email (?).. so this was perfect. Very enjoyable & informative 2 hours without overload of information. Well done 👏

This was an excellent tour with lots of information about Lagos. Arthur was informative, knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. He had lots of funny stories about the town and its history. He was able to answer all our questions and give us information about other things to do in the area while here. He also provided us with information about places he recommended for eating.

Artur showed concern for the accuracy of his presentation of the visible works rather than any marketing hype. His personal familiarity with the area due to living there made his talk authentic.

This was an insightful tour of Lagos with lots of information & we thought it worth doing. Brodie is a good guide with plenty of knowledge & and entertaing style of delivery. He also gives good tips on restaurants & bars & other places of interest.
