Fraga was our tour guide for the duration of 4 hours. I loved that he wanted to get to know the attendees, so we did a round of introduction. He has great energy and is a funny guy. My husband and I got to learn a little bit about Lisbon. Towards the end of the tour, we got a free Portuguese egg tart which was a nice touch!

We enjoyed the tour very much. Joana was amazing and made sure that there was always a quiet spot in the shade when she was telling us information.

This walk was much more than just going through the Alfama neighbourhood. It was also learning about the history of Portugal, Lisbon, about the culture of its people. Our Guru also shared a list of must dos, places to see, where to eat, have a drink away from the "tourist traps". Would recommend it to anyone!

This was an amazing tour, Lia was the best! She is funny, entertaining, patient, kind and very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon! She also had great tips for better navigating the city during our stay and plenty recommendations for food, nightlife activities and even which ATMs to use so we don’t get ripped off by unnecessary fees! Loved everything about the tour thanks to Lia. Also do not be intimidated by the 3 hour duration, it was nicely paced with plenty of time to rest between long stretches of walking and Lia knew the tricks to avoid harsh hills.

This was the most informative walking tour we’ve ever done. Francisco maintained a high energy level throughout the tour and kept us entertained until the very end.

We have been using GuruWalk for tours for a few years in multiple cities around Europe and the UK. This tour and especially the tour guide was the best yet! Telma is fantastic not only does she know the historical facts, but she also sings and is from Lisbon.

Great educational tour! Learned a lot about Portuguese history and the various neighborhoods. Telma kept us entertained while we walked up the steps and hills to the castle.
