Ik was great to hear the stories around the old buildings and parks and funny details. We also visitted all kind of small beautiful alleys leading to another beautifull small square or chapel. Places we would have never found ourselves. Helma was entousiastic, professional and knows an incredible amount about “her” city. We would recommend this tour to everyone.

Helma knows the city perfectly and is very clear in her explanations. She also provides nice recommendations for places to visit, current exhibitions and some nice places to eat. The tour was very complete and I enjoyed it a lot! I super recommend doing this tour with Helma :)

The walk itself was pleasant and well-paced, taking us through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of Nijmegen. Despite the ever-changing weather conditions, we had a great experience following the Nijmegen's past through the locations that our guide Helma showed. "Old city, young vibes" as they say. Wat een fijne manier om de dag te beginnen. Ik vond de wandeling erg geslaagd, kreeg plekjes te zien die je normaal gesproken voorbij loopt. De volgende dag liep ik in de stad, en je kijkt er dan met andere ogen naar. En opeens vallen al die nieuwe plekjes je op. Waardevolle informatie over geschiedenis van de stad, zo verpakt dat het interessant is, en je leert iets nieuws over de stad. Helma is erg enthousiast over haar stad, en dat zie je terug in de verhalen en fijne manier van gids zijn. Dank je wel!

It was so nice to join this tour with Helma! It was a great introduction to Nijmegen, with a very complete and surprising route. I was amazed with lots of hidden details everywhere we walked. She was really nice and funny and you can tell she's passionate about the city's history. Totally recommend!
