Free walking tours in Oxford

We really enjoyed our tour with David. He is a very enthusiastic guide and really knows his stuff. The pace is good and we got to see loads in the two hours. We will have to come back to Oxford to see all the sights he recommended. Highly recommend this tour.

We booked a tour in the afternoon. It was a small group on a beautiful day. David is a very professional guide. There is enough time to see everything and David takes the time to tell you the historcal storie. Liked his style of talking about his city with so much energy. Thank you David. Dave is such an engaging and knowledgeable guide. He explained everything so clearly and really had an answer for each and every one of our questions. We had a very complete walk around the city, and left with a good understanding of it, which was helpful when we returned by ourselves, the day after. My tour with David was wonderfully informative and fun. David is a warm friendly native of Oxford who has a deep knowledge of the city and university. Due to cancellation of the other participants, I was the only person on the tour, but David was willing to conduct the tour with just me!

David is a true Oxion with complete knowledge of the place and great local in sights .

David is an awesome guide and a lovely person. However, in the tour he references many British people and uses some technical words that I (as a non native english speaker) found difficult to catch. I would recommend this tour to people from UK but not really to people from other countries unless they have some background in British history.

David was a wonderful guide. Due to bad weather, others in the group cancelled the last minute but David still met me and gave me a private tour. I can tell he was very passionate about Oxford, his home town and wanted to tell everyone about it!

This is my second Guru Walk with David. When I Met him on September it was so good that I told him I would come back with my parents. This is what I did. And in this second time again he was incredibly generous with his knowledge but also his kindness to answer to all the questions and patience because we had to translate to my parents in Spanish. I would definitely recommend a walk with him because you will feel closer to what the actual life in Oxford is like. And it would be like walking with the a very good friend.
