The Montjuïc Cable Car connects Barcelona with the top of Montjuïc hill, where you can enjoy the best views of the Catalan capital.
Take the funicular from the Paral·lel metro station to Parc de Montjuïc, then change to the cable car for a 750-meter ride to the top of Montjuïc. You can get on and off at Parc de Montjuïc, Miramar, and Castell de Montjuïc.
On the way to the top, enjoy bird's-eye views of Barcelona. The final destination is the 17th-century fortress and former prison: Montjuïc Castle.
Once at the top, try to spot landmarks such as the Sagrada Familia and the Torre Glòries. Other places of interest in this area include cultural attractions such as the Joan Miró Foundation, Poble Espanyol, and the National Art Museum of Catalonia.
