Mario is as an excellent guide. He studied history at his university in Korce and is a fountain of knowledge not only about local landmarks and culture but we had a fascinating and frank discussion about contemporary Albanian politics. The latter was worth the price of admission alone. I have a particular interest in Korce since both sets of my grandparents came from Korce. After our tour ended, Mario led us to the first Albanian school for girls (founded in 1891) where my grandmother was educated. It’s not open to the public & has only a small plaque on the wall. I never would have found it on my own but Mario went above and beyond to lead us there. Three cheers for Mario! You will not be disappointed by this tour.

Mario was an extremely professional guide with extensive knowledge of the city's and Albania's history. He showed us the city's points of interest and a variety of museums. Mario incorporated information about daily life in Albania and the city today, and was a first-rate guide.

We enjoyed our tour because of the professionality, kindness and knowledge of Eljo. We learned so much at this interesting tour. He knows everything about the city, the history, architectuee and the history of Albania. Because Eljo is a teacher at highschool he can tell you a lot! He is a kind and pleasant man.
