Really interesting visit with a passionate guide.

I had a 2 hour walking tour around Korce with Eljo (in English). I enjoyed it tremendously. Eljo is so knowledgeable in history, geography, religion, politics and shared his knowledge with me. He connected old events with the modern time, and I saw many architectural gems through a historic lens. Because of Eljo, I fell in love with this city - Korce. So far, I have been travelling for 3 weeks in Albania, and I know by now that Albanians are good people. Eljo is one of them! Faleminderit (Thank you) dear Eljo!

If you’re visiting Korçë, I highly recommend booking a tour with guide Eljo. From the very beginning, it was clear that he is incredibly passionate about his city and its history. He studied geography, which is reflected in his deep understanding of the local culture, landscape, and traditions. He took us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own and shared fascinating stories that brought Korçë to life.

Guide Eljiro provided a good sequential history of the city and the walk covered many iconic buildings in the old and new quarters. Very passionate in communicating information and very sincere in his views.

The tour was great! Very informative, interesting and a lot of fun at the same time. We really liked it! Korce was the last city of our trip in Albania and thanks to this tour we got all the best of it. We did the tour in the morning at 10 and then was easy to plan the rest of the day thanks to the info and recommendations that we got from the guide! We highly recommend it as you get to see also nice parts of the town you may lose by your own.

We were really happy with our walking Tour with Eljo through Korca. He showed us around the town and told interesting stories. The highlight of the tour was the Beer He invited us to and the tour through the Korca brewery that he organized very spontaneous for us. Besides his knowledge and His information about the city is was really enjoyable to talk with him about everyday life in Albania and to hear his personal opinions about the current state of the country and its struggles but also his personal hopes and beliefes. This made us understand the city, the country and the people way better. All in all a very enjoyable experience that we would recommend to everyone.

I was the only one who showed up, but Eugene insisted on giving me a whistle-stop look around his lovely town. Knowledgeable and interesting, and kindly helped retrace my steps to where I had dropped my credit cards! Highly recommended.

Nice tour to get to know the whole city, we discovered spots were would not have seen if we had explored the city by ourselves. Eugene gave good information and answered all our questions. If you want a relaxing and yet interesting tour, this is the right choice.
