Mario was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area. He was open to questions and took time to go to the bus station with us to sort out our travel plans. We appreciated the tour and personal touch.

I had a great walking tour with Mario. He is from Korce and had excellent knowledge of the area. The route he took was really good and went through many of the sites. We even climbed the Panoramic Tower and saw Martyrs Cemetery. Great guide.

Wir waren überrascht eine so interessante Stadt vorzutreffen, und quasi eine private Tour zu bekommen🤩 Wir waren im September dort und scheinbar hab es für diesen Tag keine anderen Gäste. So konnte er ganz individuell auf uns eingehen und wir haben uns über Korça hinaus auch viel über das aktuelle Leben in der Stadt unterhalten. Ich kann die Tour sehr empfehlen, wir haben sehr viel an Informationen und Eindrücken mitgenommen. Die Tour war sehr kurzweilig 😍

Es war eine sehr persönliche Tour, da wir nur zu zweit waren. Mario Ist sehr kompetent und hat vor allem historische Fakten interessant vermittelt. Alle unsere Fragen wurden ausführlich beantwortet. Zum Schluss hat Mario uns noch ein nettes Restaurant auf dem alten Basar empfohlen, wo wir sehr gut gegessen haben.

Really interesting visit with a passionate guide.

I had a 2 hour walking tour around Korce with Eljo (in English). I enjoyed it tremendously. Eljo is so knowledgeable in history, geography, religion, politics and shared his knowledge with me. He connected old events with the modern time, and I saw many architectural gems through a historic lens. Because of Eljo, I fell in love with this city - Korce. So far, I have been travelling for 3 weeks in Albania, and I know by now that Albanians are good people. Eljo is one of them! Faleminderit (Thank you) dear Eljo!

He studied geography, which is reflected in his deep understanding of the local culture, landscape, and traditions. He took us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own and shared fascinating stories that brought Korçë to life.
