Just wrapped up my first Chengdu trip and wow—Qingyang Palace totally blew me away! Our local guide was a gem, explaining Taoist culture in such a down-to-earth way. Loved watching the incense smoke curl up, hearing the soft chanting, and learning about yin-yang balance. It felt so peaceful yet full of life. If you’re in Chengdu, skip the crowds and dive into this hidden gem. So glad I didn’t miss it!

This was a fun way to spend an evening in Chengdu. The views were fantastic, especially around the Twin Towers, and riding through the city gave me a much better feel for the local atmosphere than walking around on my own.

Haoqi was a lovely tour guide and I appreciated the tour of the beautiful People’s Park. Even though the tour was rained out in the end we had a nice conversation and I learned quite a bit about Chengdu and tried some wonderful baked goods too.

Li is a great guide and brought us around some nice areas in Chengdu to try a variety of speciality street food we would have had otherwise. She is super friendly and welcoming, and told us lots of history about Chengdu and the region’s long history. We had a wonderful time and would highly reccomend the tour!

I almost skipped this tour because I thought Chengdu was all about pandas and old streets. I'm so glad I didn't. Riding along the river at sunset and ending at the Bamboo Fountain was a great experience. Our guide was friendly and made everyone feel welcome.

f you like exploring cities by bike, this is a great choice. Everything was well organized and the route was easy to follow. Seeing the lights around the Twin Towers and walking through the night market made for a memorable evening.
