Yuan was EXCEPTIONAL in every way possible. Her energy was infectious throughout the tour and she went above and beyond to make everyone in the group comfortable and up to speed on everything she was talking about. The route she takes during this tour is beautiful. I cannot recommend her enough for this tour and also many others that she offers. She is the most kind and considerate person. We also had a couple other things come up that we needed a local’s perspective on and she made herself available to respond on messages to answer any questions. A truly memorable experience and she was a huge reason of why Chengdu felt so welcoming and wholesome to us!

Highly recommend this tour! It exceeded my expectations. Yuan is very friendly and professional. The beautiful classical Chinese garden architecture was unforgettable. We also got to experience local people’s daily life. At the end of the tour, Yuan guide me to an amazing local teahouse where I enjoyed some delicious snacks.

Il tour con Haoqi per noi è stato proprio speciale: per la prima volta durante un guruwalk abbiamo pranzato insieme con piatti locali e fatto altre esperienze! Il tour è iniziato in un mercato alimentare in cui Haoqi ci ha presentato i piatti tipici e i banchetti più interessanti e curiosi. Abbiamo poi pranzato insieme ed è stato bello continuare a ricevere informazioni sulla cultura e storia cinese intorno al tavolo! Dopo ci ha fatto scegliere se visitare un tempio Taoista vicino o partecipare, con un costo aggiuntivo e non destinato a lei, ad una cerimonia del tè e ad un piccolo laboratorio di scrittura: abbiamo scelto la seconda opzione. Ci ha fornito quindi curiosità interessanti sulla famosa cerimonia del tè e sull’arte della scrittura cinese, aiutata dalla proprietaria elegantissima della sala da tè. Ci siamo anche spostati insieme in bicicletta! Grazie Haoqi!

Jooaan ha sido una de las mayores sorpresas de todo mi viaje a China. La verdad es que me enseñó Chendú por la noche en un Tour personalizado, recorriendo por bicicleta y andando por la parte nocturna de Chendú y la verdad es que todo fue impresionante una calidad de la explicación y la personalización del Tour brillantes. I’ve joined quite a few walking tours while traveling around the world, and this was definitely one of the most enjoyable ones! Jade was very friendly and easy to talk to, and the tour felt more like exploring Chengdu with a local friend than following a typical guide. I especially enjoyed hearing the little stories about local life and culture while walking through People’s Park and Kuanzhai Alley. As a Japanese traveler, I found Chengdu’s relaxed atmosphere really charming, and this tour helped me understand the city beyond just the famous sights. The pace was comfortable, the conversation was fun, and I never felt rushed. A lovely way to spend a few hours in Chengdu. Definitely recommended! 😊

During the tour I was shown various interesting and less touristy spots, had interesting conversations and all in all a really good time. This was a perfect and relaxed intro to the Chengdu.

Yuan is amazing. I like her personality a lot. The trip is great, 100% recommended . Super fantastic tour with Yuan! gained lots of local cultural knowledge. cycling in the tree shade by the river was comfortable, with gorgeous riverside scenery. The bamboo park has incredible building. It’s the most peaceful park I’ve seen in Chengdu. Yuan showed me authentic local life and ancient history. Also snacks and massage at the teahouse made this tour more perfect.

It was my first experience in a guided tour. The experience was good, the group was small and the food we tried was enough. We also shared some dishes to try different types. Li also told us about some curiosities of Chengdu history.

Yuan war super freundlich und zugewandt. Abends ist es wunderschön am Fluss entlang zu flanieren und es hat eine leichte Brise. Die Tour war abwechslungsreich und Yuan hat auf alle Fragen gerne geantwortet. Sie zeigte uns Details die nur ein Local wieiss. Ich kann die Tour sehr empfehlen.

Haoqi was an incredible guide. He treated us so well throughout the tour and introduced us to the different flavors that make Chengdu so special. He also taught us some Chinese calligraphy, and we got to take home a beautiful phrase as a lovely souvenir. We would definitely do it again. 10 out of 10!

Such a lovely way to see a different side of Chengdu. Jade made the whole walk feel easy and natural — more like spending a few hours with a local friend than following a typical tour. The mix of history, everyday life, tea culture, and local stories was especially nice. Places like People’s Park and Kuanzhai Alley felt much more meaningful after hearing the background and small details behind them. What I liked most was that the tour never felt rushed or overly scripted. There was plenty of time to ask questions, chat, and simply take in the atmosphere of the city. Definitely a great choice if you want to understand Chengdu beyond just taking photos at famous spots. ¡Muy recomendable! Gracias por todo, Jade.

El tour en ingles con Jade fue muy entretenido. Se le entendia bien. Nos llevo por los sitios indicados en el itinerario mientras nos contó historias de la ciudad y las costumbres de Chengdu. Es muy buena opcion para empezar a conocer la ciudad. Recomendable.

My second tour with Haoqi. The tea ceremony and calligraphy experience were fun and interesting. I haven't practiced calligraphy for a long time. I had fun tasting different food and socializing with the other visitors. I recommend this tour! Chris
