Free walking tours in Chengdu

This tour felt like hanging out with a friend. A friend that could tell us everything about local food, customs and beliefs. A nice an relaxing time that made my visit to Chengdu even more fun and interesting. Highly reccomended!

I had the best time with Ye, it ended up being the best walking tour I had during my entire Trip. Ye is incredibly lovely and I would highly recommend booking a tour with her! She shares a lot of information and is still creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere. I will definetely book with her again once I am back! :)

It was such an immersive experience at the Antique Market. It’s a place filled almost entirely with locals, so we felt like we were truly part of the city rather than just visiting it. Finding unique objects was great, the tea ceremony was really interesting, but my favourite part was learning more about Chinese calligraphy and getting to practise brush writing. It was a beautiful, hands-on way to connect with the culture, and Ye made the whole experience feel effortless and authentic.

Very welcoming host. The tour started in the Chengdu Planning Museum which gives you insights of the urban planning of the city. We then visited the modern part of chengdu, different kind of parks and ended the tour on ancient streets.

Haoqi was very friendly. She guided us through the local market explaining us everything and answering all our questions. She gave us a lot of information regarding what we were seeing and tasting. Definitely recommend!

Haoqi is super nice and friendly :) I enjoyed our tour and seeing a popular market with lots of interesting food. I also really enjoyed the second portion where she took us to a Taoist temple, explained how to pray, and also about each god symbolized. I would have liked to have a little bit more of a historical background for the food street and Chengdu in general, but all in all I had a good time and I am happy I did a tour with Haoqi :)

We joined the tour and loved the experience! Not too much walking and you get to see an authentic market and taoist temple. Haoqi is also a great guide, who shared a lot of local insights. Would recommend!

Haoqi is very professional, knowledgeable and fun. She took us on a tour around the market explaining to us how people make and eat some of the local dishes or food and took us around the temple to learn more about the Taoist philosophy. I really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it - I just wish I had more space for the food!
