I spent an enjoyable morning with my guide Chang! We've visited the market and had a tea ceremony together, I had a chance to pratice Chinese calligraphy. Chang was very friendly and answered my many questions 😊 I definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Chinese culture!

The toor was very fun! Haoqi was very pleasant and knowledgeable about everything that we asked her. We got to know local treats and have a very nice teahouse session combined with our first calligraphy try!

A fantastic, informative and entertaining afternoon with Fiona! A brilliant walk around the food market, we got to buy and try lots of local delicious food! We followed this with the tea and calligraphy session which was throughly enjoyable. Fiona was a perfect guide who was extremely knowledgeable and spent time answering all of our questions! Haoqi has been very helpful, kind and knowledgeable about the food in Chengdu. She also took us to have a Chinese tea tasting and calligraphy sessions; this was very much enjoyable and fun. The Chinese tea tasting session was very interesting, followed by calligraphy session with explanation on Chinese character strokes and brush holding; then we got to write a Chinese phrase ourselves.

We really enjoyed our evening tour of Chengdu. We had a laid back and relaxing walk around part of the city and got to see plenty of places. We got to know our tour guide who was both friendly and positive and made our experience very enjoyable.

Wenshu Monastery was fascinating. Loved learning more about Buddhism and how it arrived in this country and how the Chinese culture adapted it to their culture. Pleasantly surprised on what there was to see and the many tea places inside you can visit and stay for a drink at the end of your prayers. There were many places to eat around the Monastery. You got to see how filigree silver place where the art of making it such a treasure, bamboo pottery and lacquer art. I was amazed how fast 2 hours had gone by. Camille is very engaging and tells you all about Buddhism. We were lucky to see two relics whose rooms were opened at the time we entered. They usually only open once a year but got lucky because they were cleaning the rooms. I am very happy I booked this little tour.
