Great tour and very interesting information. Not the fault of the guide but a strong word of warning, my boyfriend and I have both been very ill for 3 days now. We eventually decided it had got to the point we needed to see a doctor and he has said we likely have food poisoning and dysentery and we both need antibiotics. Although we can鈥檛 say for sure if it was the food from the market the local doctor advised us to never eat food from there and that was the most likely cause. I want to be clear I enjoyed the tour and I have no complaints but if I were you I鈥檇 refrain for eating any market food, it鈥檚 just not worth it.

Amazing tour with Leonel !
I highly recommend doing it if you鈥檙e staying in Leon.
We went on the morning tour et we stopped at the market to try local food, that was really nice.
A lot of information are also given on the city, the history of the country and the culture in general.

Leo, my guru guide, was so knowledgeable and kind! I learned a lot about the history of the city and the current political situation of the country. He enjoyed when we asked questions and I never felt uncomfortable chiming in to ask something I was curious about(: I definitely recommend the tour!

Best walking tour. Our guide Leo was amazing, he is super smart and can explain the complicated history of Nicaragua easily in a very creative way. He definitely made us fall in love with Le贸n. 100% recommendable! We had so much fun.
