Our essentials tour of Philadelphia with Thomas was the perfect mixture of fun, informative, entertaining, and interactive. His desire to provide a quality tour was evident within the first 5 minutes as he set expectations, answered questions, and shared fun facts of the city's history and landmarks. This was our first walking tour in a US city and recommend Thomas' tour 100% if/when visiting Philadelphia. As our tour was in the summer, Thomas made sure to make stops in the shade, pass through buildings with AC, and he even provided a delicious cold water blend of electrolytes and natural water as well. He also provides his contact/Whatsapp/website for additional recommendations and inquiries for what to do/see in Philadelphia.

Thomas took time to connect with members of the tour group. He is passionate about history and it came through during the tour. Welcomed questions and provided great practical tips for exploring Philadelphia. Ended up seeing several things he recommended. Overal great tour!

He has excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat while in Philly. He was very aware of the heat and planned the route to include plenty of shade and benches. He's available for recommendations and advice after the tour. He's a lively and engaging presenter.

Tom was absolutely phenomenal! This was, without a doubt, the best highlight tour of Historic Philadelphia. His knowledge of the city’s history was incredible, but what really made the tour stand out was how engaging and entertaining he was. He brought history to life with fascinating stories, humor, and plenty of interesting facts that kept everyone interested from start to finish. What impressed us most was how well he connected with our group of middle schoolers and high schoolers. Getting teenagers to listen, participate, and actually enjoy a history tour isn’t easy, but Tom had them asking questions, laughing, and fully engaged the entire time. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and fun. We saw all the major historic sites, plus several hidden gems that other tours don’t include, which made the experience feel even more special. When 1/2 of our group had to miss the last part about Ben Franklin and he even offered to wait til their Independence Hall tour ended to finish the tour. If you’re visiting Philadelphia and want an entertaining, educational, and memorable introduction to the city’s history, don’t hesitate to book this tour with Tom. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
