Free Walking Tours in Santiago of Street Art and Graffiti

Hector provided a fabulous tour of the Yungay neighborhood. We saw so much street art plus also the insides of some interesting buildings. The visit to a studio with getting to know two of the artists with work shown there was more than I’d expected.

Great running tour!!

If you love street art and its relationship with history, this tour is for you. Blended with the history of Chile this tour showed us how Yungay continues to grow and remember current events. Fascinating the relationship street art has on the neighborhood. Gems that unless you are steeped in the history you would miss symbolism.

Sergio did an amazing job showcasing history, architecture, street art of the Yunggay neighborhood. We would have never have appreciated the charm of this colorful neighborhood without this tour. A must for any visitor to Santiago!

Sergio is an awesome guide; he is passioante, dedicated to imparting knowledge and energy to his clients and very professional. As we were shown around the unique, historic, artistic and very magic Yungay district of Santiago, our guide was oh so knowledgeable, answering our many questions without hesitation. Sergio collated stops of interest having chatted to the local artists as well as a deep dive into Yungay history. We got to visit numerous intriguing building:s: fascinating interiors! Sergio’s tour of Yungay was excellent!! We saw a ton of street art, and his explanation of the meaning behind it was really helpful. I wouldn’t have known the significance behind any of this without his expertise. Not only did he lead us through the neighborhood, but he also invited us to go inside several locations to see what is behind the walls. I never could have found so many unique locations on my own. I highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the Yungay neighborhood!

He kept it moving at a good pace, took time to answer our questions, and shared his special insights into the art, architecture and culture of the neighborhood, specifically, and Chile, in general. All while being engaging, entertaining and educational. Highly recommend.

Sergio was a fantastic guide! He provided so much insight into all the street art and the context made it all so much interesting and powerful. He also showed us art installations in restored buildings in places you wouldn’t know to look. Very worth it!

We enjoyed the walk a lot! Sergio is very informative and shares a lot of historical knowledge during the walk. I love that he took us to stores, shops and restaurants that have hidden exhibition spaces on their 2nd or 3rd floor! Totally recommend 🙌🏼

Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable and personable guide Sergio. His grasp of the English language is excellent which meant very good presentation skills. Also Got lots of tips on restaurants, cafes, film, documentaries, etc His knowledge of the art scene in Yungay both historic and present day was superb. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful guided walk with Sergio in this really interesting part of Santiago. Sergio was very knowledgeable about the area, the art and the artists and took us into some great places we would never of gone to on our own. A fantastic experience!

Fantastic tour! Better than most ordinary tours in the city center, because Sergio explains about the history and culture through the diverse street art. There’s a lot of beautiful street art you won’t see other places.
