I had a wonderfull guided tour provided by the very spontaneous Paola. She showed me the highlights of the city she grew up. With passion she gave a very clear view over Shkröder (and Albania in general). She made a point of giving real facts and was happy to give answers on a variety of questions I had. Paola was a wonderful guide. She was well-versed in the history of Albania and the city. She told us everything from where to buy the best ice cream to the greatest heroes of the region and the architectural style typical of the city. I highly recommend taking a tour with Paola to get a feel of the city.

Paola is just great, your rarely find person so local and so much in love with own culture. Voices of Shkoder is a special excursion to visit, a lot of love and local insights was put in it. Ask as many questions as you can, you will get much more than just by listening. Paola is there to answer all your questions. Was a great walking tour, Paola was entertaining as well as informative. We learnt a lot about the history, architecture & people of Shkoder. Would highly recommend.
