This is definitely not your traditional Sintra tour and that’s the fun of it! Instead of a standard history walk, our guide dives into the lesser-known Masonic influences of the town, mixing his research with symbolism hidden in plain sight. There’s no hard proof tying everything together (whether it’s Freemasons, the Order of Christ, or something else entirely!) but there are just enough symbols, architectural details, and connections to intriguing historical figures to make you stop and think. Coincidence… or not? If you’re looking for a typical facts-only, checklist-style tour, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’ve already done the classic Sintra tour (or enjoy a little mystery with your history) this experience offers a fresh, imaginative perspective and turns the walk into a genuinely fun piece of storytelling.

We had the best tour with Slava despite the temperamental weather - from the information he provided which was extremely interesting and unique, to the way it was delivered, and the route planned by Slava, we had an amazing time learning about Sintra in both the usual and a more mysterious way. He also had great recommendations and fun facts, and also really appreciate how he keeps his groups small and is attentive to all participants! Thank you again :)

We chose this tour due to the uniqueness of angle on Sintra - we are both spiritual people and the energies of Sintra & from Slava were instantly apparent which for us made a fabulous unique tour of such a beautiful mystical place. Most amazing tour with Slawa If you want to experience Sintra, with all the necessary information but also with lots of interesting stories from a different perspective this is the tour to book. We were on quite a few free walking tours but this one is definitely in the top 3.
