Free walking tours in Skopje

Aleksandra didn't have enough people sign up for her tour but she was so kind and still met me at the starting point and walked me to another starting point with her colleague Zoran so I could have a tour from him. Both Aleksandra and Zoran were wonderful. I highly recommend this tour!

Vasko was incredible! His stories were interesting and provided a wonderful overview of Skopje and Macedonia’s history. The route covered all the hotspots of the city, and he also provided practical information about ATMs, bus routes and food and drink recommendations. We even got to try Burek which was great and had a stop for free toilets in the middle. Thank you Vasko! Would recommend :)

Knowledgeable, friendly, funny, intelligent and well prepared. It was a fine tour with Zoran. I’d reccomend and I’ve done a lot of tours!

Aleksander was very passionate and enthusiastic about his city! There was only myself and another person on this tour, so we got a very personal experience. I learned so much about Skopje and Macedonia in general and Aleksander answered any questions we had. Cute addition by the way of Linda the street dog and her buddies :)

Dario is very knowledgeable young man. You could ask him many questions and he was happy to answer them. I really enjoyed the tour.

Truly amazing tour, since it was off season it was only me and my friends on the tour - he made it fun, very knowledgeble, engaging and again fun. Answered all our questions, was always full of energy and straight to the point. All the stars I can give Thank you - BRAVO!!!

Excellent tour with Dario, he is very knowledgeable, entertaining and easy to talk with. Tour is 3 hours but well paced with a nice coffee break half-way through. Gave great recommendations on other places to visit in Skopje and also useful food/drink suggestions

Dario, our guide, was absolutely amazing! He was engaging, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and was happy to answer any questions we or the group had. We had a very international group with us and he brilliantly engaged with everyone. He really brought the city to life. He constantly had a smile on his face and it made for such a wonderful atmosphere. The spots and stops he took us to were brilliant, and didn't miss anything out even after 3 days more in the city. We saw Dario again a few days later taking another tour and he made sure to stop and say hello again which was incredibly kind and personable. Cannot recommend this tour enough, and if you can, try and get Dario!

Aleksandra is a very intelligent and kind woman. we embarked on the tour even though only two people had booked during low season. almost like a private girls excursion. it was great. a lot of qualified information since she has a background in archaeology if I remember correctly. she really cares about guests enjoying her hometown.

Amazing tour of Skopje! Aleksandar is an incredibly knowledgeable guide who explains the history, culture, and hidden details of the city with real passion. Everything was clear, interesting, and perfectly paced. We learned so much while having a great time walking through the city. If you want to truly understand Skopje, this tour is a must. Highly recommended!
