Experiencia auténtica local alejada de las masificaciones turísticas del resto de lugares populares, ha sido fantástico salir de la ciudad y respirar aire fresco en la montaña y compartir la experiencia con locales que estaban pasando el fin de semana, comiendo y disfrutando de la naturaleza. Javlon además me recomendó lugares en Tashkent y sobre todo un festival de Flores que era el día de mi tour y sin él no hubiera nunca conocido. We did 4 walking tours in Uzbekistan and this was our favourite by far. Donat included a mixture of historical facts, info on things were were walking past/looking at and then hands on interaction with locals in the market and info on the food and goods we were buying. We loved riding the tube with him, felt like we covered lots of ground, and he was always sharing factual/historical info and sharing info on local life. He has a great knowledge of the history of Uzbekistan. In the markets it was great to have him point out foods that were new to us and explain what they were and suggest good prices to pay. Donat was tailoring the experience to our taste as we went too, so wouldnt have lingered in one place if we weren't feeling it. He was also very helpful in catering for one member of our group who had his foot in a cast and often needed to sit down. Would definitely recommend a tour with Donat! I had a great afternoon with local tour guide Donat. He took me around his local area explaining the meanings behind the all the Tashkent Banky’s graffiti artwork. There were many around. It would have been difficult be to find them and fully understand the meaning myself. He was very personable, professional and nice to chat to. Thank you Donat.

This was an excellent tour with an interesting focus on Tashkent's soviet-era buildings and history. The fact that it took place at 7pm added to the experience. Mirwahead was an energetic guide and it was easy to hear what he was saying. He responded fully and candidly to all our questions, of which there were many. Highly recommended !

This was a wonderful way to see local life outside Tashkent and at the same time to escape the intense heat of the city. We went to a typical country town produce market before proceeding to the mountains for an excellent grilled lunch and an enjoyable walk to a mosque with stunning views. Javlon was friendly and engaging throughout, which made for a comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable day out. Highly recommended.

Donat was brilliant! One of the best guides I've had throughout my travels. Highly interesting tour especially if you're interested in the Soviet history of Tashkent. Tashkent by night is also extremely beautiful! Great pace, Donat was informative and had a great sense of humor, I highly recommend this tour.

Would highly recommend this tour! Donat showed us the variety of Tashkent. Also big bonus was tasting food on the Bazar and having a look how bread is baked here. In general I felt like getting insights. Thank you!

This is the best walking tour I’ve ever taken. The sights are dynamic, the locals are exceptionally proud of presenting the experiences (especially in Chorsu Bazaar), and, most importantly, Donat was an outstanding guide in every measure: funny, intelligent, organized, and relevant.

I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it. The guide, Donat, had an excellent knowledge of the city’s history and shared it in a very engaging and interesting way. His storytelling style, combined with a great sense of humor, made the whole experience both informative and fun. He also created a really nice atmosphere in the group - it felt relaxed, friendly, and easy to connect with others. I especially appreciated how interactive the tour was. It never felt like just listening: we were constantly involved, which made everything more memorable. Madina is a great guide- she proudly showed us the heart of Tashkent, primarily around Chorsu and shared her abundant knowledge about the places we visited. Walking through the bazaar was fun. It was overwhelming to see that many things at once, but she highlighted some cool things to check out and I found a delicious helva to take home with me! Madina was helpful before, during AND after the tour as well. Great communication and she answered questions I had to prepare for my trip. After the tour, she shared more tips and things to check out as a list which helped a ton. Tashkent is a big city with many things to do and see. A local guide’s recommendation means a lot. One thing that I did not expect was, the tour was in both English and Russian. I chose this tour since English was the only language option. I usually avoid bilingual tours intentionally because when the guide explains everything in two languages, inevitably the tour takes longer which is not time-efficient for me. But the Russian speaking group was bigger in number and English group felt secondary at times. Overall, I recommend Madina as she is very professional and a lovely person!

Madina è una guida giovane ma molto professionale, con un buon inglese. A tratti un po’ didascalica, ma sempre estremamente disponibile a condividere aneddoti, tradizioni e curiosità sulla vita quotidiana uzbeka, oltre alle spiegazioni dei diversi siti. Ha un passo piuttosto sostenuto, ma utile per riuscire a visitare tutti i siti, un po’ lontani tra loro.

Wonderful tour guide. Personable and hilarious. Loved the history lessons delivered with pizzazz. Donat speaks superb English. Special bonuses included a look into real local homes, and an exploration of the best spots of chorsu bazaar (which we had a hard time finding on our own). Highly recommend Donat!

An interesting excursion. Javlon shared a great deal of information and I enjoyed seeing life outside the city. If you are looking for something different, you should take this tour.
