Highlights:
- Senate Square
- Tales from the Swedish and Russian past
- Story of how Finland broke free of Russian rule.
- Is Finland really the world's happiest country?
- Market Square
- What and how do Finns really eat?
- Presidents castle
- Helsinki University.
- It's free to study there, how is possible?
- Locals hints on where to shop, eat and drink.
You will find your guide with a green cap from the base of the massive Helsinki cathedral staircase. It's that white church from postcards.
In case it is not possible to start from the indicated address due to specific events or celebrations, the alternative starting point will be outside the main entrance of The National Library of Finland, Unioninkatu 36, Helsinki.
This tour is a quick and easy introduction to Helsinki’s history and to the Finnish lifestyle. In case of severe weather conditions the tour will be shortened to a duration of 1,5 hours.
Groups of more than 10 people will contact the company to be able to better accommodate them and offer a customized product.
