Tour description
Mérida, formerly called T'hó in pre-hispanic times, is the capital of the northern state of the Yucatán peninsula. It concentrates main political, ceremonial and economic centers of the region whose buildings date from beginning of the process of conquest in 1542.
Through a walk through historic center you can learn the history of Yucatan from conquest to present, visiting museums, walking streets and its symbolic buildings and visiting the main market to discovering the diversity of products in the region.
