We are a young team that left Spain in 2009 and we are in London to create this beautiful project. At the request of our "walkers" we grew up in Paris, Dublin, Berlin, Malaga, Cordoba and Budapest, teaching these cities to thousands of Spanish speakers. We are professional guides and we are madly in love with every corner of the cities we teach.
Night falls in the British capital and its secrets begin to emerge among its streets and main corners. With our Free Tour Legends and Mysteries of London you will learn about some of the paranormal phenomena, sinister events and unanswered mysteries that circulate through the city with the help of an official guide in Spanish .
Our guided tour begins next to St. Paul's Cathedral , a place where some of the most relevant events in the history of England have occurred. We will continue through other legendary places such as the Greyfriars Christ Church or Postman's Park , also known as the London Heroes' Park because of the memorial monument that we can find there.
Continuing our walk we will be able to glimpse the ruins of the walls of the Roman Londinium from the Museum of London and we will advance to the Church of Saint Bartholomew the Great , the second oldest in the city to learn about the curious story behind its name.
During our mysterious itinerary we will also discover the bloody persecutions of Protestants and condemnations at the stake of Mary Tudor , or Bloody Mary , or one of the most famous executions in British history, that of William Walace , who would go on to be considered a Scottish national hero. . In addition, ghost stories will accompany us during our walk, for example in Cock Lane or Newgate Prison .
But we cannot talk about the darkest London without knowing another of its most sinister stories. We will immerse ourselves in the legend of Sweeney Todd , known as the devil barber , and his wife and accomplice, the pastry chef Margery Lovett , who ended the lives of numerous people of the British aristocracy, but how did they get rid of their victims so as not to be discovered for so long?
We will end our intriguing walk at the statue of Samuel Johnson , next to the Royal Courts of Justice , where we will learn the macabre story of one of the most notorious serial killers, the British doctor Harold Shipman , accused of killing more than 200 of his patients. .
As you can see, exploring the darkest London and its darkest secrets is possible with our Free Tour Legends and Mysteries of London . Do you dare to discover them?
