Welcome Walkers !! My name is Irina and I am from Manises, I am 25 years old and I have studied a higher cycle of Tourism and I am currently an Official Guide. My hobbies are: Reading, writing, discovering curiosities about the places I visit, playing video games, Asian culture and Ancient Art. I love meeting people from other countries and sharing with them the wonderful places that there are in Spain and that they tell me about their countries. Come to know the legends and curiosities that surround Valencia with me! It is important that if you are not going to come to the reserved visit, notify in advance. Thank you.
Route: Lonja de la Seda, Calle Angosta de la Compañía, Calle Manyans.
Do you know Valencia? A beautiful city with a lot of history. I have prepared a tour for lovers of scary stories, history and anecdotes.
Murders, executions, symbols, sins, pleasure, pain... Would you like to know about these topics? Do you want to know these stories that have been passed on by word of mouth for a long time?
- The route begins at the Puerta de los Pecados de la Lonja. There I will tell you a little about the building and the construction time. However, the most important thing about this visit is the symbology of the building and its sculptures. We will also talk about one of the darkest shows in the city, the executions. And without forgetting to review the history of the old brothel in Valencia, of which some sculptures in the building give a clue. Did you know that there is a brothel in Valencia? What about the executions? What type and where were they made?
- We will continue towards Angosta de la Compañía street, a normal and small street that hides something very interesting.
- And to end our visit we will go to Calle Mayans (Old Calle Cerrajeros) and discover its darkest legend. What could it be? What mysteries does this street hide? At first glance it looks like a very normal street in the historic center of Valencia, but I can tell you that not everything is what it seems.
So far I can write…Let's find out together!
Reminder to everyone:
-After each explanation, a few minutes will be left to take pictures of the places and ask questions.
-After the visit you can take a souvenir photograph for the web.
-It is advisable to bring water, a hat, comfortable clothing, and something to cool off (in hot weather).
-If after the visit you would like to go in and see the buildings that I have told you about, do not hesitate to ask me for information on schedules and prices.
-It is important that if you are not going to come to the reserved visit, notify us in advance. And reservations will have to be made at the latest the day before the visit.
