29 year old Dubliner who has called Porto home for the best part of 8 years. While studying Spanish and Portuguese in University, I chose Porto as my year abroad and instantly fell in love with the city. I have been working as a tour guide for nearly 5 years with a strong passion for history, politics and food, which I hope to convey on my tours. I also love football but I try to avoid too much of that on my tours!

This tour was a perfect introduction to Porto. I would absolutely recommend it. Entertaining, informative and with lots of great local tips. Great!
Caoimhín was great. Friendly and informative. I have just one comment. Since I was alone, and the only one on the tour, Caomhín asked me at the beginning what I wanted ( which I thought was very courteous) and I said I wanted to cover as much ground as possible and see as much as possible. As it turned out, I felt like we didn't really walk much at all -- we stayed within a very small area of the old city center, and on several occasions we spent at least 20 min, standing in one place talking. Of course I don't mind descriptions and history and anecdotes, that's what I'm on the tour for, but I really felt this tour could have covered a lot more.
Great tour ! Caoimhín made sure to include everyone, incorporating other history references and making sure everyone understands him (including non native English speakers like me). Tried many of his recommendations they were all good. Would totally recommend !
