Hello! My name is Alex. I worked in a German travel agency for 20 years and had to show cities to clients and acquaintances many times. I have lived before in Weiden, Munich, Caracas, Havana, Panama City, La Paz and Mexico City. I have lived in this city since 2016. Many other cities await me, thanks to the invitation of international clients and operators (Tokyo, Seoul, Mallorca, Oslo, Stockolm, London, Sydney, New York). I will be waiting for you to show you the ways and stories of this wonderful city.
The tour begins at Plaza Sotomayor, where the historic buildings will be explained. We will offer free Wi-Fi access to our travelers. From this place we will go to the dock to get a nice view of the port dynamics, which was in its time the main port of Chile. Then we will return to the square, the history of the surrounding area will be explained and we will go to the Plaza de la Justicia to take the elevator. The traveler can get a panoramic view of the city and the hills using this unique transport that has been operating since 1883. We will walk through Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre, places where you can see the German and English heritage. Visiting ancient places nestled among the narrow streets will immerse you in the cultural atmosphere of a bohemian city. You will enjoy street art, graffiti murals, colonial houses and cultural interventions of public spaces that demonstrate the will to maintain tradition and the rescue of local cultural values. The restaurants, cafes, art galleries and craft shops will allow you to take home a pleasant memory of a charming city.
