El Rodadero is perhaps the most important resort in the city of Santa Marta.
It is located on the shores of the Caribbean Sea in Colombia. Its development began in the mid 1950s, and since then it has become one of the main tourist destinations in the country. It receives its name from a large mound of sand between two small hills, which were used by the locals to roll down to the beach by its slope.
On our tour we will enjoy the sea breeze coming from the Caribbean Sea and enjoy observing the architecture of the place, mostly from the 60s, when high-risk investors decided to invest their money in a desolate and semi-deserted place. We will understand the importance of this place at the regional level, observe its surroundings and record its beaches.
