Newcastle is a very lively place that offers a wide range of attractions for the visitor. The old town has managed to combine modernity and history in a masterful way, respecting its glorious past but always looking towards the future. In this way some of the most beautiful streets in the United Kingdom have emerged, full of shops, markets, galleries, theaters, pubs, clubs, etc.
The geordies, the inhabitants of Newcastle, are reputed to be tough people and their peculiar accent can be a bit difficult to follow even for the English.
This is the general tour guide on the city centre:
1. Meet at Earl Gray's Monument
2. Big Market - for shopping/ browsing OR Lane Art gallery
3. St James Park & China Town
4. Get food (optional)
5. Castle Keep Or Hancock Museum
6. The Tyne & The Baltic
7. Take you back to the Monument Or End tour.
I am open to discussion for tour.
PS Please message me to help arrange and discuss for the bookings and if anything specific you want to see or do then please let me know.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
