About the Tour

Join me on this Islamic Cairo Tour to go back in history hundreds of years, here where the time machine stopped since the Middle Ages. in the heart of Cairo, start by Al Azhar park with a street called El Darb el Ahamar, this street full of Islamic monuments you will really feel like you find Islamic architect treasure where you will see mosques, house, palace, mausoleums, collage and one of Cairo gates and part of ancient Cairo walls which protect the city against invading armies. all of this beside visiting handcrafts market and enjoy by el Azhar park which considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Cairo with its magnificent location which an imposing view of the city with 1000 minaret.

we will begin our tour with a short video show in El Azhar park show room and start our tour in very old part of Islamic Cairo from El Azhar park to use the golf cart which will drive us to Tarabay al-Sharifi Complex, next stop will be Prince Alin Aq Palace built in 1293 AD then we will visit Khayer-Bek Complex build in 1502 AD , with golf cart we will continue our tour to visit Aqsunqur Mosque (Cairo blue mosque) 1347 AD, we will then visit one of the ancient houses called Bayt Al-Razzaz palace constructed from the late 15th century through the late 18th century.

we will visit more and more of historical sites in our tour and I will make sure that you will take the best photos of your tour in Islamic Cairo & El Azhar park.

Please note that

- The tour excludes the entrance fees to El Azhar park & the golf car of Islamic Cairo Touristic Route

- The entrance fees to El Azhar park cost 25 EGP per person

- The entrance fees of historical mosques sites & the golf car 180 EGP per person

- Tipping your golf car driver is completely optional but should be considered if you're provided with great service. If you decide to tip feel free to give what you think your experience was worth.
