We are a team of young professionals in art history and tourism, passionate about our country and our culture; we want to show and offer visitors all kinds of experiences. We have decided to dedicate ourselves to what we like the most, that is why we have trained as Galicia Official Guides and we offer both guided tours and accompanying guide services in different places in Galicia.
Pontevedra hides among its small alleys a large number of dark stories and mysteries. Meet the most famous characters that make up his popular memory and discover why Galicia is called "land of friends". Stories of pirates, murders, and even mermaids! You can not lose this. At 20:00 we will meet at the Loro Ravachol sculpture to begin to know the mysteries and legends of Pontevedra. First riddle: who did that parrot belong to? Why is it so popular in the city? We will continue the free tour of the most medieval Pontevedra. Sick of plague, condemned to death in the "pillory" and other characters will star in the stories in this part of the journey. The walk will continue on Calle Tetuán, where we will discover what happened to some "walled" nuns of their own free will. The next stop will be next to the Basilica of Santa María la Mayor. Will your gargoyles hide something? Near the temple we will also see some cruzeiros. Will they have something to do with the dreaded Santa Compaña? We will find out! We will also reveal some stories of pirates and mermaids, whose spirits, they say, still fly over Pontevedra. We will tell you the last story in the Plaza de la Pedreira, next to the Mugartegui Manor House. According to legend, the family that inhabited this house emerged from the union of a gentleman and a mermaid. Dare yourself!
