There are 3 of us in Free Tours Riga by locals, all born in Riga when our country was still part of the Soviet Union. We really love our city:) and are passionate about our job being tour guides. We feel really privileged for given opportunity to meet so many people from all around the world and pass over our knowledge, feelings, love and passion. History of Riga is now a bit longer than 800 years. It is largely concentrated in Old Riga. As a vibrant and multicultural today, city has been influenced by many powers in the past. They all have left architectural, cultural and historical influence to explore. We will cover not only past but also present happenings in our city. Expect a relaxing, informative and fun time .

Booked English tour, but perchance the group had to be split and lots of German speakers were around, so one of the guides was a native speaking German, so she made a tour in German.
She was great: full of knowledge, wit and interesting things to tell and show.
We enjoyed it a lot.

Rita has been the best guide so far since using Guruwalk. Excellent dosed information on history and what interests us as tourists and introduces us to the very city/country we came to. I praise her English, which is really at the top level, she is a true professional. The time passed quickly, the restaurant was excellent that she recommended for local food. I recommend Rita if you want to really experience Riga 😊
