Hi! I'm Marc, Valencian, exploring Berlin for more than 10 years. The last 5 dedicated to helping visitors understand the city by taking Free Tours. Before I lived in Paris, Warsaw and Barcelona. Although I studied science, my great passion has always been to communicate. On my tours I try to make the fascinating history of the 20th century easy to understand. Not only speaking of the Nazis and the Communists but of the current Berlin and the reality of modern Germany. I also try to make the tour interactive, the more questions the better. After all, how many times will you be in Berlin talking about these issues? With me you can answer all the questions you always had. . More than 1400 people have already tried my tour on other platforms and have evaluated it. Also a few years ago I directed the documentary "Aquestes Europes" and recently I have published the book "Posar el Cos"

Tour description

What makes Berlin such a trendy city? Discover the Berlin of Berliners. The one that does not appear in the guides. The city of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Nick Cave but also that of Graffity, Techno and the 90s. Visit with Marc art galleries, hidden alleys, murals by international artists ... What will we discover on this Tour? "Berlin is poor, but sexy." This is how Berlin Mayor Klaus Wowereit defined the city in 2003 and these will be the pillars of the tour. We will talk about the squat movements after reunification, how the divided society exploded in creativity, the creation of the first tekno clubs (in former bunkers of World War II) and we will understand the artistic subculture of Berlin (Graffiti and the innumerable art galleries On the tour we will visit: - Haus Schwarzenberg - Dead chicken Alley - Jewish Quarter - The most beautiful neighborhood in Berlin - Turkish Market (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday) - Bethanien Art Gallery - The most important murals in Berlin - and of course ... The East Side Gallery (Part of the wall painted with murals) The tour will end right at the beginning of the East Side Gallery with an explanation of the most important murals so that you can visit and understand them yourself.

Marc fue un gran guía, se notó su conocimiento y su pasión por la ciudad y la historia, sin perder de vista los detalles y lo que al público más nos interesaba. Totalmente recomendable.
