I'm originally from London, but like many people in their early twenties, my sense of adventure got the better of me and I spent many years travelling the globe. I eventually wound up in Rome - a city that’s frozen in time and impossible not to fall in love with. I’ve worked as a professional licensed guide in Europe for over 15 years now - meaning I’m not only an expert in Roman history, but also that of many other cultures across the continent. For me, meeting people from all over the world is one of life’s greatest pleasures. I can guarantee to keep learning and history fun - so join me on a tour and let me share this amazing city with you.
The Colosseum is one of the most visited archaeological sites in the world and attracts thousands of tourists every day. It is important that you have a reservation to skip the line, and considering its fascinating history, a guide is ESSENTIAL. Let me take care of all the details for your once-in-a-lifetime experience. You just have to worry about showing up! You will find me waiting for you at the Arch of Constantine ready to welcome you to this wonder of the world. After a warm welcome, we enter the Colosseum through a priority reservation entrance. Inside the Amphitheater, you will discover the amazing past of the Colosseum and the mystery behind the notorious Gladiators from one of my handpicked expert guides. Then you will have 20-30 minutes of free time inside to take photos and process your amazement! The Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum is where my experience lies. I doubt that I have spent more time anywhere else in Rome in the 20 years that I have called it home. I will share my expert knowledge with you and bring back to life the heart of what was once a bustling capital of the Romans! Finish off by exploring the ruins of the Emperors' Palaces and the birthplace of Rome. Although this is a free tour, we have to reserve tickets to enter these archaeological areas, which you can pay in cash or by card upon arrival. Tickets for adults cost 18 euros, those under 25 from the EU with an ID cost 5 euros, and for children under 18 there is a reservation fee of 2 euros.

We had a great tour with Colin! We visited the Palatine hill, the forum and the colosseum. It was very informative and we learned so much. Would highly recommend!
What absolutely fantastic value for money this tour was. Blown away! At first was a bit skeptical to be joining a FREE colosseum tour (just had to buy my own tickets) but it was AMAZING! So so good I am so impressed. Colin was absolutely fantastic, such an engaging talented person. We covered the Colosseum, palatine hill and the Roman forum in depth, saw the most amazing sights and I took the most incredible photos! So happy I joined this, thank you so much Colin!
